Digital Experience Developer

Begin Labs works with small businesses, entrepreneurs, makers, and go-getters to bring their businesses to life. Our growing company is looking for a seasoned Digital Experience Developer to help us create memorable and consistent brand environments across our portfolio of businesses.

We are looking for a team member who is excited to build digital experiences that run the gamut, from WordPress sites, to HTML emails, landing pages, and other client-facing resources. Your Skills:

• A combination of programming and design skills
• Expertise with the related software development tools
• Experience developing e-commerce websites
• An eye for detail and the ability to match your UI to responsive design
• Strong communication skills, as well as problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivation and the ability to proactively raise issues or concerns when needed
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Drupal, WordPress, SEO and Web Analytics, Email Marketing, User-Interface Design, Creative Problem-Solving, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects
• Understanding of Scrum / Agile methods
• Familiarity with Hubspot a huge plus, but not required

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development
• 2+ years experience with WordPress
• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
• Experience with JavaScript, Angular, WordPress, HTML, CSS
• Up-to-date resume and portfolio
